We’re getting some good traction in the hospital and physician trade press regarding our analysis of the ACO regs.
I provided an interview with Physicians Practice discussing the shared savings models of the proposed rules for accountable care organizations and balancing risk versus reward in establishing new health care partnerships. The interview centered on how the two shared savings models place different levels of risk on ACOs to encourage broad participation once the ACO rules are finalized later this year. The article takes a closer look at how the shared impact of losses under these models will influence physicians’ development of ACO partnerships. What do you think? We’d love to hear from you about your views on the impact of the use of the two shared savings models.
